that sounds good in theory, but the reality is that the harley shift linkage itself is right hand threads on both ends.

I was responding to his Harley part he posted, that is the exact one that I bought. It's a nice part.

I agree, it is unfortunate that HD does not have them with black joints & hardware.
I had to source mine elsewhere.

I was also responding to the part he posted but with a little cosmetic change.

I was looking for good heim joints and ended up with $10 per pair ones from Amazon. I didn't find a good brand, that was the right size, with female threads. The Amazon ones are tight and do the job.

Vendors that sell them as upgraded Harley parts don't mention brand names or the country of origin. There's probably a reason for that.

I was looking for a plain Jane one but could not find one so I got this one.
