Interesting - the horn on my 2013 RGU was awful.

Yep. I keep reading about louder aftermarket horns, but if they were any louder than my last three M8 touring horns, I wouldn't be able to stand it.

if your state is anything like mine (louisiana), doing away with the horn is not an option. we are required to get inspected annually (or bi-annually) and having a working horn is part of that inspection.
