i love my corbin, but thats unacceptable. i dont know how long your riding season is but they need to fix that for free (id have it done during my off season) or just take it back without the restocking fee. thats garbage.
Can always try a few like mcorbin@ or Mike.Corbin@ see if the bounce back or if you got FB call them out if you don’t get anywhere, not just yet I would exhaust all options nicely first
I used to love Corbin seats in the late ‘90’s. Worth every penny back then. The past two bikes I’ve bought Corbins, and sold them after less than 5k on them. First one never “broke in” and felt like **** on any ride over an hour. Second one was like the OP’s, with poor quality control, and crappy customer service. I bought a Lucky Dave seat, and couldn't be happier. Corbin will never see another dollar from me, unless they do some drastic QC and customer service improvements.
I First one never broke in and felt like **** on any ride over an hour. ts.
I picked up a corbin used for $160. I got about 2k miles on it, and rock hard To hard to have OL ride to break in, I have it on, cause I like the way it sits. Corbins always had a reputation for being hard, My first corgin, I didn't think was hard, and last one, almost to soft. But the used one i rock *** hard. It looks old, and is for older bike.

i dont know why, but my old dual tour for my 01 flhr was like a rock. the solo for the same bike was too soft with no support and i love the one on my 14 tk, its hard but not rock hard. i have no idea what changes what foam they use.
Call and ask to speak to Mike Corbin.
Top notch guy.
Tom
After reading this thread Id be be embarrassed to have that last name. Im sure hes a very nice guy though.
OP, Maybe try sending him a gift? I sent a bag of dicks to Jochen Zeitz, the CEO of HD as a thank you for my 23 CVO. Then I bought a BMW. Thats how I deal with shitty companies and incompetent ********.
