Default Insta 360x3 camera

Good morning, everyone. Has anyone mounted a Insta 360 camera on a batwing faring bike? I haven't been able to find if the motorcycle mounting kit that comes with it would work.
Thanks for always providing the answer to everyone's questions, stupid ones or not.
Go to Church today then go for a ride!

Thanks,

I rode with a guy that had the motorcycle package with an extended stick that put the camera up above the fairing. Never saw the footage but the guy was raving about the camera so I'm assuming his setup worked well.

Judging by the number of people I see out on the road with it on their bike, and the number of video's I've seen from people who took them while riding, I'd say the motorcycle mounting kit works.

Thanks RGS88. I would love to see an actual mounting of the stick, if anyone else has one. Thanks again. At least I know someone made it work.

Thanks foxtrapper. I'm assuming that you have seen full faring bikes with it.

I am currently riding at Sturgis with a few friends. One of them has the Insta 360 camera with the motorcycle bundle kit. He attaches it to the handlebar, and for a change of perspective, on a fitting on his tour pack rack.

I have seen a very large number of people with these cameras on their bikes. Many will take the mounting pole, and walk around with the cameras holding the expandable mounting pole like an umbrella. They are recording around them as they hike/walk around at various sites. (that's a little too weird for me). I must have seen a dozen people walking with them during my walks around the Sturgis Rally site.

My friend has been playing around with the videos after our day rides. I've seen some of the stuff that camera does. That camera is pretty impressive. It truly takes videos in 360° around the camera.... kind of like a dome around the bike. The camera, nor it's mount/pole, show up in the videos...

Impressive enough that I am thinking of getting one... and I am NOT a tech person...

Here is a pic of my freind and his wife. In this pic, the camera is mounted to the tourpack. Most of the time, he has it on the handlebars by his left grip.

Yes.

But you seem to be asking something without actually asking it.

Is what you're asking, without asking, a question about mounting it to the fairing? And if that's your question, what exactly are you asking?

Thank you hattitude, for the informative response, and a photo to boot! Yes, from what I have seen the resulting videos are impressive. I was concerned about the mounting, but the photo you supplied confirmed that it will work in my application.
Thanks again and enjoy Sturgis!

Uhhhh, duh...I don't know how to answer your question. Maybe the answer is yes.

I have mine attached to handlebar, I like it but for me Insta selfie stick is too high and have to stretch a little to touch the camera. So I'll be mounting insta selfie stick on the back or engine guard to get different shot. I got another short stick (off brand) from Amazon for the handlebar that is short and easy reach.
