Daily commuting
I sat on a couple of RKs yesteray & they're cool & all, but the more I thought about it, just not what I want. So im going to stick with the softail.
But you guys have talked me into putting some bags on it. I'm going to get a swing arm bag, a little toolkit on the handlebars & probably another one in front of the oil cooler.
I hope you've made your decision and you're in the wind.
When I bought my 2020 Fat Boy it came with running boards. Ugh! Harley sold a Peg conversion kit for the soft tail frame. Now, saying it was a "kit" was a clear case of delusions of grandeur on Harleys part. The "kit" came with a pair of the peg mount brackets used on the Breakout model(s) and 4 new bolts to install them with. It totally changed the look of the bike and got my legs extended a bit further. This could be a way for you to have a soft tail or touring frame with a forward control chopper look. As a bonus, you'll get more leg room, knees below the top of the tank.

Miracle of miracles, HD still offers the kits for both Baggers & Soft Tails.
