My 07 flht came off the production line on 7/14/06. I picked it up 8/1/06 iirc. Other than the hot motor I haven't had an issue with it yet. thats not say other were not having issues. 5th gear whines a bit but no box o rocks in the tranny or anything like that. Even when down around 2000 rpm, no noise. generally ride around 2200 to 2500 rpm. When I heard about the ids I thought I would get one but ... Why ... bike don't make any noise... so I'll wait. Probably late know but .. I wonder if the noisey bike owners know what dates thier bike came off the line. Might find a window of time that problem bikes came off the line, that would be kind of interesting.

Wifes 07 RKC built 05/07..... box of dangrocks, just ordered IDS from Zanotti Motors (lord please let this work cause if it dosn't MY WIFE WILL EXPLODE ON SOMEONES BUTT, and I will have to give her my SG and trade the rocks in for an 08 RG..... LORD, PLEASE DON'T LET THIS WORK)

Well I talked to another dealer about the install. The service manager there (Mobile Bay Harley)was friendly and knowlegeable. Said they installed them on quite a number of bikes already and even quoted me a price(130.00) for the labor. Made an appointment for next Friday to have it done. If I had a lift i would do it myself.
