Im wanting to clean up my battery terminals because right now i have underglow hooked up to them and i want to add a trailer light isolator to the bike. I have the 69200722 electrical connection update kit powering a corbin heated seat through the douche connector on it and that leaves the spare capped wires unused. Id really like to run everything through the accessory connector but i understand thats fused at 15 amps. So, my question is instead of tying the isolator into the battery terminals too am i able to connect it to the spare wires on the accessory connector? Am i able to possibly tie all 3 items into it? If so, what would be the best way to do so? Ive kind of looked into a distribution block but i dont know where id mount that. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
I hope someone can answer, I can't help as I have no experience with a motorcycle trailer and have never added any auxiliary lights.
My electrical experience is swapping OEM lighting for LED, or completely plug and play electrical stuff...
I am curious what the final answer will be....
at this point i think im going to tie the underglow and the seat into the accessory connector and run the trailer isolator to the battery. Its not quite ideal, but the led underglow has very little draw so i dont think that will add enough draw to be an issue. Even though its not quite what i want, its a step in the right direction.
