Default RE: reroute clutch cable for WO575's

I don't have a pic because I already replaced mine...
Let me try to be a little clearer...

Where the cable originates at the tranny follow it up the frame until it gets next to the oil filter mount.
There should be a tie-wrap or two attaching the cable to the frame somewhere around this point. Cut it to give the cable a little slack.

Disassemble the clutch lever and remove the clutch cable from the hand controls.
Open the batwing. Follow the cable up from the frame downtube into the bottom of the batwing.
You see that it enters the batwing at the bottom and makes a nice big arch up and around the guts of the batwing and into the hole exiting out the front of the batwing.
Push the cable out of the hole and look for a shorter path. You are trying to remove the huge arch of cable.
In other words re-route the cable finding a shorter path instead of using a big arch.
I found that coming from the bottom of the batwing I was able to route the cable directly behind the air temp sensor (no big arch) right into the hole going to the hand controls.

It's not nearly as hard as this sounds. When you get the front of the fairing (batwing) off, you'll see what I'm talking about...
If you are just in the planning stage...go buy the 3-4" over cable instead of following these directions.

Man good luck! Those bars are awesome.... I have them. I used 4" over BTW (if you order cable)

Take a pic....I don't get it Right now the cable comes from the right and crosses over on the outside of the tubes. Do you put it under and on the left, or go inside and behind the tubes? If you go inside, doesn't that make it hard to get at to adjust the cable?

Thanks. This is just temporary because I don't want to drop the exhaust until I put the new exhaust on.

Yeah to replace the cable is kinda a b!tch...
Take in mind...what I've described...the cable will be TIGHT. But it will work and not inhibit your turning etc.
At least it looks better than having it outside the fairing...
