While installing my IDS this morning I noticed something about my V/H Ovals. The right one is straight thru with a hole that looks about 5/8"-3/4" in diameter. The left is totally restricted, can't see any daylight thru it. Anyone else seen this before, does it sound right? Seems there would be alot of back pressure on the left side.
BTW: IDS is the best money I have spent so far. Haven't been on road yet, but at there is a considerable difference
I looked at mine...can't tell. But it makes sense though... the left side overall is a shorter pipe from the head to the end of the exhaust. Maybe it's restricted a little to add a little back pressure to keep things some what "balanced?"
Just checked mine and they are identical.
Did you have the bike dynoed when you installed the PC?
If so, the tuner had todrill a hole for the probe. Didn't have
to be near that big tho. Probes I've seen are only about 3/8".
Hey Bulldogmoe are you happy with the setup that you have on your bike? I thought about doing the fuelpak and ovals on my 07 Ultra. Did the Fullsac conversion make the ovals louder?
