Every year HD goes up on prices (slightly 3-5%). They will not increase the price during the year. The MSRP that is posted now will be the MSRP posted at the end of the year. It is true they flooded the market with the 07's and will not be producing as many 08's. Harley's NORMAL factory shut down is always around the first of the year, every year. Don't panic, HD is alive and doing well.

Dealers here in Wyoming barely have time to get the new 08s assembled before they are sold.....don't stay on the floor for more than a day or 2. My 08 Ultra limited is scheduled to ship 9/28, haven't heard about any delay. Next time I'm in the shop I think I'm going to recommend that some of the sales staff join and do some reading on this forum, my only complaint so far has been that they seem rather ignorant concerning the setup of 08s, or the problems some had with the 07s. It didn't take much for me to know way more about most of the bikes than the sales staff knew.......otherwise seem to be a great bunch of guys.
