Default 1996 FLHTCI fork conversion

Does anybody know what all need to be done to the forks on a 1996 FLHTCI to get rid of the air system?

These guys might be able to help. I am happy with the work they did on my forks. It may be worth a call. Talk to their service department.

Why not? I've had nothing but problems with it, leaks after replacing valve and hose. so after that cost I would rather not mess with it anymore.
