08 RKC Engine bracket

Has anyone noticed the addition (from '07) of a pair of engine brackets that attach the top part of the front cyl. to the frame with some sort of adjustable linkage? And also the rear cyl. to the frame? I know this is a mod but what is the reason? Do we have to have this mod for the '07's? I was in too much of a hurry to ask someone at the dealer the other night.

I've heard it's because of the larger gas tanks on the '08's. It'snot on the '07's and who want it.

It's my understanding that they moved the mount from between the cylinders ('07 on down) to the front cylinder due to the redesigned gas tank. I hadn't heard of a mount on the rear cylinder.

saw that yesterday at shop they mention it in latest copy american iron.

According to my local dealer, it is to cut down on that wicked idle vibration that has caused so many puzzies to whine which in turn makes them think their whine is fifth gear.
