Thanks Wes. The Service Mananger did mention "Elbow Grease" Guess he'll have to look on "his" list to see if the IDS is there. Talked to their Head Mech and he stated they have yet to do one, even tho others have mention the chatter. If I can get rid of the box of rocks, I'll let them train on my scooter......
Yea, once he gets past the BIG buck$ mod$ on the list, the lowly $300 IDS is there. I'm with you on getting rid of the "box of rocks", with a little luck I'll complete my install on Saturday. I'll be doing the 1K service as well and with the Redline synthetic oils, it should be sounding a whole lot better.
I did the IDS on my bike in early august. probably one of the first on this forum. have over 12,000 miles on bike now. Worthy investment, no clatter, less whine in 5th, can cruise at 65 mph in 6th comfortably.best addition to bike yet!!
Well its on and I very happy. Its like having a new bike. I cant believe what I was missing and how much power seemed to be lost to the rear wheel without it. Best money I have spent on my 07 EGC.
Well then your welcome for the info on the tunnel traffic I hope it helped and I'm glad the IDS was worth it.
Sorry we left in a rush but we had to pick our daughter up from school and wouldn't you know that stupid speedo that worked fine for them started doing the death dance as soon as I left the dealership!!!
