The AMP "Power Clutch" gizzmo is one way to go, but they are expensive.
Much cheaper is the Burly-White Bros. Easy Pull clutch lightener. It installs in 1/2 hour inside your right side trans. end cover.
Makes a 25-35% improvement in the lever pull, and it's invisible. Parts Unlimited dealers will have it in their catalog, if not on the shelf.
FWIW...the H-D hydraulic clutch ($$$) is a huge disappointment if your're looking for lighter operation.
Next time you're at the dealers, pull the clutch on a CVO bike, or a V-Rod and see how stiff the lever still is.
Don't know if you saw this yet, but Burley Brand, Light Shift Clutch Kit. Reviewed in Hot Rod Bikes April issue. I haven't tried it, but I thought it might be of interest to you.
Burley is @ 714-692-3404 or sold through Drag Specialties.
I had the "easy clutch" installed on my 05 Ultra. Easier than the hydraulic clutch on my Yamaha. Works very easy with positive clutch engagement. Cost was just under $175 installed.
I totally agree with Triple Z, I installed this on my 02 SE Road King and then lubed the cable, it's as easy as hydraulic, cheap to buy and easy to install, much cheaper than the $600.00 hydraulic ($22.00 plus my time 1 hr. max) unit from Harley. One thing we have learned is you have to grind where the cable hooks up, you will see what I'm talking about when you install it. Smooth as silk, everyone that pulls the lever swears that it's hydraulic. [sm=smiley20.gif]
