I think S&S is a word for don't respond to this post, I don't get it. I love S&S stuff but no one here seems to run it. They've been working HD motors forever with great success. If you get it let me know what you think.
Couple of the better independent shops in my area are S&S dealers, but when
you ask about a motor build, they always try to push other components. Its got to
be profit margin on parts thing. I've been using S&S parts since 1970, and always
thought they were top quality. Right now,I'am saving up for the S&S 100" complete
big bore kit for my 06 RK.
One of the best tuners in the northeast. Joe's Cycle Repair highly recommends this intake. I have a bro with one on a hot 95" build and it makes great numbers. I'm building a custom bagger with a 124" S&S, S&S VFI Closed Loop Module, Single Bore Fuel Injection Throttle Body and this breather system.
Remember, what you are seeing is a breather that fits MANY throttle bodies, it isn't necessarily an S&S single bore.
I'm a big fan of S&S products. A lot of shops shy away from S&S. I don't understand why. I've had little, if any, problems with S&S products and I've been using their products since I began working on twincams in 1998.
I too tried to find information on this intake as I think it looks killer and think it would perform great with my GMR 107" build. I couldn't find out too much information on it online, so I asked my local shop and he said by the time you price all together, it's freakin expensive..like $700 if I recall correctly.
