We went out today and knocked out about 200 miles. It was a little chilly this morning, but all in all it was a great ride. We stopped several times meeting up with some friends etc. Everytime I saddled back up, I couldnt help but think today is the day, the dreaded last day of the year. There is snow forecasted for Tuesday, and that deep WI cold is right around the corner.I'm going to put her into hibernation later this week. I'll be breaking the motor down over next couple of weeks to get ready for my HQ build.Atleast that is something to look forward to.....in about four months!! I understand what you're feeling. This is my first bike and I've only had it less then a month. It's getting it's 1k service next week and will go away soon I'm sure. Like you said, cold is coming to WI and dreaded salt will be on the roads soon.
Now I feel guilty. To think I was bummed because it was a solid 75 degrees, just a tad bit too warm for me,for the ride today through the gold country of Northern California Sierra Nevada foothills. [sm=smiley4.gif]
