Is the vibration tied to engine speed (same any gear) or vehicle speed?

I would for safety and piece of mind, recheck what you did to install it first.
recheck belt tension.
then check the engine mounts.
did you by chance knock a wheel weight off?

Redhill, I wanted to get back sooner on your problem. Sorry I was sick. Lymes, Tick bite.
Anyhow, Person from this site took me up and borrow my tools installed his own and friends IDS. His bike had a slight noise and a vibration when riding. What We found after looking bike over was a very simple BUT important part had moved out of place. There is a rubber damper on the rear brake caliper. It slides on the rear swing arm weld aligment.Putting the caliperback on it got missed aligned. More like pushed out of way. Replaced with new. Applied a slight amount of Sil-Glyde. Makes easy too install.
His problem fixed.
