Default SNAP, CRACKLE, POP (UPDATE)

Ok... here's one for you engineer / theorist types...

Twovehicles are on a two lane road andare travelling towards each other, both at ~50mph. One vehicletravelling west and the other vehicletravelling east.

Both vehicles happen to sideswipe each other. If all the debris from the impact was found on the side of the road from the vehicle travelling east, did anyone crossthe centerline? if not, why... and if so, who.

Based on your theory, who was at fault and why?

This is a real life scenario in litigation... I just want to know what the majority of you all think.

Just for kicks, here's the road in question attached.

Tough call, one would think if the debris was in the eastbound side the collision would have happened on the east. But, if the smaller lighter vehicle is traveling east and crosses the line and sideswipes the westbound vehicle the force would possibly put the debris in the east bound side but closer to the center line. Hope this makes sense.
Just my opinion!!
Good luck in your case, I feel for ya!

...look for direction of skid/scrape marks from point of impact.

Makes sense... however the debris landed 10 ft. off the shoulder in the dirt.

THAT'S WHAT I SAY AS WELL!!!... I'm not an engineer or anything, but I'm not sure if a sub-compact car(what 2500-2800lbs.) and an 800 lb. bike would make any difference in a sideswipe situation since they never actually collided.
