I received the Wild Bill's forward footboard relocation brackets today and just installed them. This is just what I have been looking for.
They are the perfect distance forward for me. I have the extended length shift linkage and EZ brake and now my floor boards extend past them a little. I now have a similarriding posture I have on my Deuce with forward controls. An added benefit is I don't hit my shins on the back endof the flooorboards when I put my feet down when I stop. I'm 6' 1" with a 34" inseam and weigh 210.
I highly recommend these to all you long legged folks that want to stretch out your legs.
Great service and very fast delivery. Ordered them late on Friday the 23rd and received them usps today the 28th.
I got a Fat Boy because of how short the floorboards and controls were for me sitting in the saddle.one of the latesttricks for SoftTails is to install "tour" floorboards and the extended length shifter lever and EZ brake pedal.

I was getting ready to buy a set of those from my HD dealer, are these better, extend longer??
Thanks for the info cowboyglide. Saw the original post & have been thinking about them. Will have to wait till I can do the extended brake & shift. But glad to have an option other than theHD extended pans. I know they only move you 3/4". Any chance you have one of SooS kits that move them out/wider?. My guess is that SooS's kit should still work. Unless there is a clearance problem with the crashbar/engineguard.

Theones I bought are extendedbrackets and not boards. They extendthe boardsforward 2".
The HD ones are actually replacement boards and not the bracket and they are only extended about 3/4 of an inch..
