I went from Rhinehart 3.5" slip-ons with a de-cat header to V/H Pro Pipe... what a difference! More response and torque. Flashed a new map with my FP3 and off I went... couldn't be happier. I LOVE the deep and throaty sound ... that's what really stands out...
I got it from Lindsey at www.ironacesspeedshop.com for the BEST price on the web... I did my research.... $584 SHIPPED
Need some help here, have a 14 SG,, trying to find the separate brake wire
BEFOR it goes in the Blinker/Brake harness. I have the custom dynamic LED Brake bar light. Newer SG don't have a separate brake light to tie into so the LED bar light blinks with the turn signals. I want just a Brake light function from it. Any body have a wiring schematics on this ??? Thanks, andy
Polish any Harley brake discs with a stainless steel polishing kit and an electric hand drill.
Patience and about 45 minutes per disc makes them look like chrome ! You don't need to polish the pad track area. Just the main spoke area needs polished.
Once the pads scour the outside area again, they look like they were always chrome.
REMEMBER - YOU MUST REMOVE EVERY TRACE OF THE POLISH FROM THE DISC AND HOLES BEFORE FITTING BACK TO THE BIKE.
SOAK IN BOILING SOAPY WATER, DRY WITH A SHOP TOWEL AND SPRAY ALL OVER WITH BRAKE CLEANER, THEN WIPE DRY AGAIN.
I've Needed a cup holder on my SG since I got it. I'm not a fan of the cruiser caddy type, nor do I want it on my bars. So, today I made one to fit a large Tervis cup, or my coffee cup.
4' of 1"x1/8th" aluminum flat stock
Spare Highway bar clamp
Some screws and paint (not painted yet)
I'm going to run around with it for a few days unfinished to see if it needs any modifications before sanding and painting.
Nice looking fit & finish. I'm guessing you have some special tools and skills that us average knuckle busting tinkers do not.
Looks like something with commercial appeal.
Thanks Larry. But really only used basic hand tools, a cordless drill, a vise, and a propane torch. The pictured results are version 2.0. The first one came out like crap and went in the trash. It was a fun project that, as usual, took 3 times too long to complete.
Any ideas for getting to the rear tire air connection without removing the bag or crawling all over the floor? I'd like to check the air pressure of my Road Glide more often but just don't want to deal with all the work of the rear tire.
