Nice job! I want to do something similar on my 15' but no real place to mount without drilling holes in the nice new fender :-(
( the bike you referenced about is an 08 or earlier model with a different frame)
some of us use the roadking signal bar and plate mount, this is plug and play on most models. and mounts with the 2 existing bolts
the plate led is built into the little bump.
Another horn mod ... When I bought my 08 Ultra, It already had a Harley fan installed where the horn would go. The horn was re-located to the right front of the gas tank. It was a small 2/12" diameter, black, fugly and not so loud horn. Rather than spend 100 or more on the "better" horns, I bought a sick speed horn off E-bay. It was plug and play and WoW is it loud! This horn is chrome, looks great and 20.00 !
Just finished all 180 pages. Lots of great mods. Love the raised tank and horn relocation. Putting the stick on bumper pads on the bottom of saddle bags today.
Another little mod I did this weekend. Since I replaced my radio with aftermarket, I had no need for the intercom buttons on the rear speaker pods. I removed the right rear and installed a USB charger for the wife to charge her phone while riding. I bought it on fleabay for 12.00 dollars.

Very nice. Did it take a regular 12v input, or did you need to step it down to 5v?
