No problem. Like I said earlier, there's a "pocket" between the battery and frame AND a hole in the frame like it was designed for the horn to go there.
Just don't cuss me too hard when you're trying to get the horn IN there. Lol
Also, you'll need to extend the wiring harness about 4-6". I just crimped the appropriate ends on so I wouldn't need to cut the stock harness apart.
FYI-I haven't noticed any muffling of the sound of the horn located in this new position either.
Also, if this helps anyone clean up their left side and they wanna donate a can of Cope or buy me a Jack if/when we ever meet I DO accept "donations". Haha
Not sure if this has been addressed or suggested in any of the threads but one of my first mods has always been...
For a couple of bucks buy those little stick-on "feet" like used on furniture, countertop appliances, etc... Place four on the bottom of each saddlebag... Then during wash and/or detail they can be removed and set aside without fear of scratching the finish on the bottom of the bags...
Been on a few cheap mod kicks here lately, here's another easy mod if you don't want the saddle bag guards (on the ultra classics). My bag supports are black, so i ordered the black elimination brackets, if you have chrome support brackets, then you can find chrome elimination brackets for under $40.

Continuing on with the cheap mods for these past few rainy days here in Louisiana, I added some skids to my drop bags. I had a few scuffs to repair as well. All together with touch up paint and the skids i have $40 tied up in them.
corner of the bag where i have drug it in curves and a couple a road rash scuffs.
