Buzzbait - I found this on Amazon - as far as I can tell it's the same one. Works great!

Default Shifter Extension

Quick idea for a shifter extension - I was having trouble fitting my toe under the shifter.

2" longer bolt, a piece of metal pipe (painted wrinkle black) with a nylon bearing inside to keep it from moving.

It was about $6 at the hardware store.

Default Plugging Saddle bag holes when washing off bike

16-Limited
Not really a mod but when I wash my saddle bags off the bike I plug the mounting holes with those squishable foam ear plugs to keep water out.

Default Bag bottoms

To keep from scratching the bottoms of the saddle bags pick up some of those self adhesive felt squares you see under paper weights or lamps. You can find them at Lowes or Home Depot. They cost about $2.00 a package. Wipe down the corners on the bottom of the saddle bags with a cleaner. (I like 92% rubbing alcohol.) Stick a felt pad on each corner and let it set up. Then if you need to pull a bag off and set it on concrete or small gravel the felt pads get it, not your paint.

I did similar but instead of felt used the 3M brand clear plastic/rubber feet instead...

That's a good idea. I'm cheap, so I did something similar with stuff I had laying around in my shop already. I cut out a bunch of circles and shapes from an old truck tire inner tube and glued 'em to the bottom using 3M emblem adhesive after a good cleaning with the above mentioned alcohol. Totally impervious to the elements. Don't need to worry about rain or dirt causing them to come loose.

I had some leftover 3M clear bumper protection film. Just covered the entire bottom. You can't see it but it's thick enough to do the job. But seriously, I must be ****, as no one sees the underside unless I'm dragging the floorboards or have dumped it....
