Took the front and rear bumpers off of my 04 classic and removed the rubber part to clean and polish the chrome. Reinstalled them that way and they are still that way. Nice clean nerf bar look and makes cleaning them and the fender area around there a breeze.
Talking about garage door openers, Iam getting a door installed on my now closed in carport,my bro [ lawnmower man] says he bought a kit somewhere that you go into the remote, solder two wires and somehow hook it too your highbeam switch. You come in, hit your high beams, your garage door opens, neat as hell. he is suppose to be looking for the info of where he got the kit, when he finds it, I will put the info on here for anyone interested.
OOPS! If I would have kept reading I would have seen someone else already knows that trick about the high beam switch. sorry guys, It is avery good idea though.

I have made a BIG effort to keep our bags all clear of everything so we can have maximum room for traveling this year. So I was looking for a place to stick this can this afternoon and here is what I came up with.
Cost about $6.50, took about a hour total to do. 2 L-brackets and a piece of flat stock riveted across for the can to sit on and strap to. All Simpson Strongtie from Lowe's.....
