70-75. My glide loves that speed, with rpms of 28-3000. I am also more comfortable, prefering to stay in the right lane. Will pass slower traffic and will move over for mergers, then return to right lane. I like potential problems over just one shoulder. Good posts.
My bikes are geared to cruise all day long with the flow of traffic and around here it is 80mph.Can still stretch the front end with a whack of the throttle.Cubic inches rule!!
Usually between 65 and 80 depending on where we are going and what road we are traveling. Most of the time I try to stay +5 above the posted speed limit, but every now and then the urge get to me to see just what I can get away with (not get away with by the cops, my better half, she prefers a little slower).
I like the 85-90 range when possible, but I don't like keeping my eyes in the mirrors for highway patrol so if I'm worried about it I cruise around 80 by the speedo....I think most of them read a little high anyway, 80 by the speedo is probably really closer to 75.
