I bought the Garmin 330 first. Then I got the Garmin Zumu 550. The 550 is a great device, waterproof, satellite radio (if you buy an antenna and subscription. I really enjoy it. I rarely use the 330 anymore.
I use a Garmin GPSMAP 276Con my, Bike, Boat, and Truck. You can down load data cards for water and land on top of what comes with it. Mounted it with a Ram System.
I Don't leave home with out it.

I don't like the little security screw either, don't like having to have the special screwdriver with me....so here's a link to the Zumo forum and it's the like to the member selling a replacement security screw for the Zumo, makes it a lot easier and can be used with gloves....ordered two for meand it's great....
