Just make sure you specify PORTABLE GPS unit. PORTABLE is the important word. Did I say PORTABLE?

 

I am not sure about the Visa thing. I was speaking more of a walk in or ship in replacement warranty where you don't have to wait 6 weeks for a repair. I guess I did not make it too clear. I know lots of consumer retail shops and online shops sell it.

Plus it looks like you need a specific kind of Visa card for the warranty extension. I am not sure what I have but I am going to look into this! It also looks like Visa will sell you an extended warranty.

 

I think that anything other than the basic visa card has this. You can call their number and give them your card number and they will tell you if you have this feature.
