V&H slip-ons
I have an 08 Elect Glide Classic. I am considering the V&H tapered slash-cut slip-on #16741. Does anyone have these?
I am looking to get a deep throaty sound. Not so loud that my neighbors hate me and the cops look at me. Am I looking at the right V&H model?
All feedbackwill be appeciated.

I got the basic slip ons on my 08 FLHR. I love em!!!!! Excellent sound/seems to have picked up the power too! I had them on my 03 also. Fit andfinish top notch too! Ride along with Rhineharts>>Cobras>>Rush>>V& H sound better. They're also four inchers>>look better.

RE: V&H slip-ons
My Daughters got em on her '04 RK Custom. Compared to my Rineharts... I must admit, I like the sound of her's. After a couple years though the left one started rattling internally. Just yesterday, I dug into the noise to put the fix on it. I pulled the baffle and crimped the inner end just slightly with pliers for a snug fit when pushed all the way in...She's happier than heck!

RE: V&H slip-ons
Be careful, I have been told if you change the baffle size, without changing the air incleaner intake and adding the SERT, PC111 or FUELPAK, you will have a lot of issues. The bike will run very rich possibly causing damage to the bike. Called Harley Davidson Customer service and was told not to increase the baffel size to more than2" without adding theincreased volume air cleaner and the SERT.
