What's Up...
Went out to move the bike out of the garage, and got a lot of smoke on startup...
The bike has never done this..
Any Ideas fellas? Should I report this to my dealer... (warranty) ?
I haven't been riding it much lately, just sitting in the garage... well... rode it to the parts store about two days ago, nothing abmormal,
seemed a bit rough at idle, but cleared on accelleration...

You didn't describe the color of the smoke?
Black smoke is normal during cold/sitting a while
White smoke better have it checked out
A lot of folks still think that black smoke is running too lean but not today with the different fuels we use.

Mine did the same thing after sitting up for a couple of weeks. White smoke at start up than goes away once its warm. Just had the 10000mile service done. Any thing to worry about?

My bike does it in the cold weather. Its not really white smoke more like clear anyway its just the effect from the warmer exhaust air meeting the cold air. Like a fog no worries
