Default Sound Difference between Thunderheader & Fatcat

I had a TH on my EGC but seems like the Fatcat is the best 2-1 on this forum so i think i want it for the RG but wanted to knowi the sound is close or totaly different....loudness issubjective so how about sound?

I like the sound out of mine. I have not had the chance to ride with it yet but fired up in the garage like it. It seems to have a bit more of a ring to it but I still like it. I have heard both and was also very leaning towards the TH but glad I got the Fatcat.

I had the TH on my Bigdog. Had a low tone untill I hit it. Sounds good

I LOVE my Thunderheader. It is part of a performance upgrade I did, and FC's were not even made then. Actually, I just bought another Thunderheader for the shovel.

The factcat has a radical race car sound with the standard baffle, very hard to describe

i was in the same delima but once we dialed in the scooter the D&D 2-1 the sound really mellowed out and had a nice tone. the major decision to keep it was that the d&d really gave the power in the mid range where you need it. the hp#s ill post later. i gotta get it from my brother he owns the bike now.

the thunderheader has a louder bark when ripping into the trottle, but the D&D has a mellower sound when cruising and tearing up the streets, haveing had both, i would pick the D&D again, i have sold three to customers since i installed mine on my roady
