"Duel" is when people try to cancel each other out, by whatever means. Not what you are trying to find out about, right?
Since you didn't ask, but you still need to know the difference, "duel" and "dual" are distinctly different. Important? Yes, assuming you want to actually "communicate".
Duelling? That's challenging someone to the death. "True duals" - that's separate exhausts for each cylinder.

I'm going with the "untrue duals". Bub 7 with crossover pipe. Balanced oiutput with no low-end torque loss.
Cool pipes but why not just stay with the stock headers with slip on's then?
Because stock pipes don't balance the output. Stock pipes are not duals, they are actually 2 into 1s, this is why there is HP loss with duals. 80% of the exhaust comes out the right side pipe on stock pipes. The left pipe is partially obstructed. (hope i spelled everything right)

You won't lose enough torque to even feel!!! The over all torque will increase if you do a proper Stage 1 upgrade thetorque willcome on just a little bit later.
People make way to big a deal out of this TRU DUAL thing.
If you are just a rider like 98% of us just put on what you like.
Interesting....the dyno showed a difference of 20 footpounds of torque on my bike at 3500 RPM. That is 20 pounds LESS with the TRU DUALS.
