I have True Duals on my 03 RK. No loss of torque. If anything it's more responsive. I have Fullsac True Duals, Big City Thunder #2003 baffles installed in each headpipe, Stage 1 Download, KN Highflow aircleaner with the stock cover and VH slip on ovals. The bike's exhaustisa little louder and sounds much better.
I have one of those TD conversion kits. I can't really tell the difference between TD kit, the Hooker TDs, and the Rinehart TDs. I'm sure a dyno can, but not me in the saddle. I'm actually thinking of Jett-Hot coating the OEM cross over and going back to it to get rid of some of the loudness.
new so question why go with true duels if so many of you claim it lowers torque? just asking
If you're "just asking", maybe you ought to "ask" how to spell it.
"Duel" is when people try to cancel each other out, by whatever means. Not what you are trying to find out about, right?
Since you didn't ask, but you still need to know the difference, "duel" and "dual" are distinctly different. Important? Yes, assuming you want to actually "communicate".
Duelling? That's challenging someone to the death. "True duals" - that's separate exhausts for each cylinder.
You're welcome.
Flamers? Screw you - speaking the language correctly and being able to communicate is what separates us from the apes. Join the human species, or accept the alternative. Your choice.
mabe he didnt spell it wright BUT ATLEAST IT WAS IN ENGLISH & NOT MEXICAN
I'm going to ride with my stage-1 (V&H slip-ons, SE A/C and SERT) next summer and (hoping) that the wife complains of heat on the right side....then I can put the V&H dresser duals on, but of course will have to do the stage-2 to make up for the "power loss"....that way I can tell mama I'm doing it all for her. I like this game better than the spelling game!!
