Shifter shaft seal leaking??

Request a COMETIC seal. They are a better design by far. Also a good time to change the gearing to 337 if you were thinking about it.

Hello guys, I'm replacing the shifter shaft seal and the inner primary seals as well. Can somebody help me out with the torque specifications, specially for those 5 bolts with the tabs washers to hold inner primary on place. Also I'll like to know if i have to put any sealant or silicon on the back of the inner primary around the 5 holes?

See if this can help anyone out. He is going step by step so that he can fix his oil leak issue.

What yr bike do you have, someone here might have a service manual in PDF for you.

Thanks for the rerplies, my bike is a 2004 Electra Glide Ultra Classic. Just in case that somebody wants to share the service manual
