Thanks for all the relpiues and well wishes. Just got back from London where there are many riders. Pouring rain yesterfday and still alot of riders. Mostly crotch rockets though.
Anyway, a couple of answers to some of the questions.
I ordered the 517's from WO. Held them up to the bike. I dont think I like them. The wrist angle is similar to the 508's that I had andI just want the knuckles in the wind. Possibly the 513's or the Heritage bars. Mhud, please let me know how you like them. I await your response, really.
I will also go with SRT8 at some point, thanks for the review gilbos440rt. The uneasiness isnt bad, kinda like a bump on a plane ride. You just dont know if it is going to get better or the start of something real bad.
I just got the decals from Hells Foundry. Im a little scared to put them on myself.
I will also add Moto Lights. All I need is time and $$$$.
I just love this bike. Something about it, hard to really describe, but it puts a smile on my face just thinking about it. Stay well and healthy, all of you. Thanks again.
Congrats on the new ride. you didn't mention anything about the new electronic throttle system. How did you like that?
Sorry, I missed this before. First I like the cleaner look w/o the cable. As for the system itself. It responds very well to the slightest input. There is no lag in response or slack in the throttle itself. It accpets minimum input, as in a slow speed turn w/ no jerking at all. I have read here that there is some concern that if it breaks far from home you are SOL, but other than that I think it is neutral to positive addition to the 08's/
