I got an 07 RKC and love it. The only problem is the noises like chirping that I have been hearing about on the 07`s. I have been looking at the 08 Ultra Classic, the Duracell bike as it is called. the colors on the bike have been growing on me the more I see it. Why are so many people opposed to the colors. Just wondering.
Ride Safe.
papa, the coppertop paint scheme just doesn't appeal to me, but when I bought my 07 RK, I never knew Black Cherry was so popular or had been in the lineup as long as it has.
are you saying your exhaust chirps, or just mentioning people talking about other noises on their bikes?
...ahhhhh..what are you sayin/asking?...are you gonna take a 3-5k beating on a trade to get a Harley that you think won't make "chirping" sounds?...cause if that's the case, next year you will be saying.."I love my 08 Ultra, but the only problem is"......
MY 07 RKC makes this awful noise from the trans, and this forum has had numerous posts in the past about this from many people. The two local dealerships only say to ride the pi** out of it, its under warranty. I was not saying that I was trading , only that it was growing on me. i have not heard anyone around here say that they like the colors. I was just wondering what was the problem with the colors. I don`t think that there is a ride better than the RKC, just wish the trans didn`t make so much noise.
