I took the one off my 06 EGC and put on the 08 Ultra and it works. I did take a razor knife and trim just a little bit off the black latch. Try that it should work for you. Prior to installing mine My buddy ordered the round top one for his 08 Ultra and it came with a different spring that we replaced and his works fine. If all else fails get the rounded top one.

Thats the same model I used and it worked, other than it would not pop open because the spring could not be installed. \\; I had to pry open the door, needs the spring added, just can't figure out how to add it. \\;Did not look to see if there is a lower spring on the hinge that might work ? \\; \\;So I went back to the original key one till I can figure it out....

I put the smooth one on my '07 last night and really like it. \\; Seems like there are a lot of annoying little changes that you '08 owners have to deal with.

They dont "make" one for the 08's yet..........with some mods the "old" style may work.....The CVO Ultra comes with one but it already discontinued and unavailable.......[:@]

They made a new one for 08.... spring clip is at the bottom of the cap... bad thing is that when its open, its standing straight up and down almost, making it hard to fuel at times.
