With a bent frame & forks you will be lucky if they don't total it. I hit a lady that pulled out in front of me andthe 'only' real damage was to the front end, fender, engine guard, foot board, and frame. They totalled out my bike, it was 1.5 years old with 5K miles on it. Definately not new with 350. I was kind of happy they totalled it as I was back on a new bike in about 5 weeks whereas the repairs would have taken a couple months and then it may not have been as good as new. Turned out good for me
Like many others, ABS is the reason I traded a perfectly good 06 for an 08 with ABS. It has saved my a$$ twice since July. Best investment I have made on a bike.
