i just received the Street Magic LED tail lite i ordered from Custom Dynamics and it looks great. i figured it would havea connecter on the wires to just plug it in but it doesnt....i just has 3 wires: a red, orange, and black. and it doesnt come with any instructions either.has anyone installed one of these before? is it an easy cut n splice job? do the wire colorson my SG match the wire colors on this tail lite. im not near the bike rite now but just wanting to make sure i know what im doing when i install it and dont mess up the wire harness. thanks in advance for the help!!!
I ordered one for my RKC - plug and play... figured it would be the same for you. Email kristen@customdynamics.com She was very helpful with the questions I had on my install.

Mine was the squareback light assembly. There was a 4 pin plug that went straight in where the original came out. All I had to do was cut the orange jumper wire on the one they gave me since it caused my headlight and passing lamps to flash when the alarm was activated. I'm interested to hear what they tell you. The laydown model could be different...
i just got a reply from kristen at custom dynamics, she said that it was their mistake and is sending a new one. this was good news cause i really didnt want to have to cut the wire harness and splice in together to install new tail lite.
