I just received my 16" tinted clearview with vent & recurve. Rode to work today and found it to work really well although I think that the 14" would have worked ok. But overall I am very pleased with the quality of the product and it's performance.[sm=biker2.gif]

Went from the 12inch HD clear shield, to a 9.5 inch smoked clearview w/recurve. Works GREAT. I can see over the top easily, the wind protection is great, and the smoke is light enuff, that if for some reason I was forced to look THRU it, it would not be an issue...even at night.

Well worth the $$$

I want one. How long did it take to get it in. Web site says 6-8 weeks.

Also got the clearview 8". Went from a 9.5" to the 8". I can see over this windshield great but seem to get a little more wind buffetting than before. I think it's because the clearview is not as wide as the HD. Great windshield though, took about 7 weeks to get it[:-]

I just ordered a 6 1/2" recurve from Clearview. Found that they have several with minor blems for a few bucks off their regular price. I found one with some VERY minor scratches on it so I went for it and it shipped the next day. If it's not here today, it'll probably show up Monday. I can live with a few minor scratches as my bike has a few anyhow, plus if they bother me I'll just buff them out. I just couldn't see waiting for so long for delivery. When I get it installed I'll post and let you all know what I think of it.

I ordered the 8" smoked re-curve and thier website said 8 weeks it was here in 6 but saddly it was for the newer electra glides.I could've drilled a couple of holes but then would've been only 2 bolts holding it on and with all the rain here why bother.I talked to Mike at clearview the day it arrived at 4:45 pm and he had me a return UPS label e-mailed that night.Very appolagetic and very helpful. They closed at 5 pm and he went above and beyond(although I would expect the same of myself) to get the return label to me as soon as possible.Hopefully I am as happy with it as you are...It would make the wait worth it.
