Do you think Harleys should include some extras at purchase?
Personally, I would rather have another years warranty than a cheapie tool kit.
At least the dealer threw in a free t-shirt!
My buddy "The Reverend" just bought a new street glide and there was a harley tool kit in the saddlebag when he brought it home. Mistake?? Either way, I sure wish my RK had come with one of those.
Free tool kits are always junk.
No room under seat for junk tool kit.
Center stand would just be something else to throw away.
1. Free tool kits obviously aren't as good as one that you spend $75 for, but they usually include basic enough roadside tools (screw drivers, allen wrenches, sparkplug wrenches, etc.). More than you'll ever use on the side of the highway at 10:00pm! I wasn't planning on doing a 5000 mile check up with it!
2. There'd be plenty of room under the seat for said tool kit . . . . . .if they'd design the bike to includeit! But hey, why should they when youare willing to spend even more money for tool bags and$75tool kits.
3.If you would throw away a good center stand, give me a call. I've got swamp land in Florida for sale. Center stands are great. You can't see them when they are up. They are great for when you clean your bike. And they are really nice at the gas station when you have a nice level bike to work with! Everyone who sees mine, including the dealer, raves about it. Those who have had them before know what I mean.
Don't be so closed minded.
I got my 07 Ultra Classic for free but I had to pay 23k for a t-shirt.

If so, I hope you aren't talking about me.
Wow, I guess you can't question anything Harley. Instantly makes you the "bad guy".
