Ahhh, I udnerstand now. Couldn't figure out why the hell you need a key. But you guys have locking gas caps. HAHAHAHAHA!!!!

That's not why........the new security systems arm themselves after you shut the bike off and the key is a certain distance away (like at your house)....without the key fob you can't start the bike hahahahaha

OK....jus guessing here but if the keys were AT HOME I'd say they were 3-5 feet away

Oh and for the rest of youse guys who are talking about key locks on the fuel door IF ya had read and retained the info you would remember he said AFTER he filled up he coudn't start the bike....DUUUUUUUUHH

Ya'll flunk the "eye witness" test....nice job

+1 on the pop up lid. It is great! It amazes me how many people don't lock there bike. I bet I could go up to 80% of the baggers i see and just turn the ****!
If this is true.?.?.... why does anyone in that 80% buy the sec system... makes no sense. I didnt get the sec system for that reason
sure you can turn the ****. but you won't be able to start it. and if you mess with it the siren is gonna go off...... but if you get off on turning *****, knock yourself out.

The security system (with or without the siren) disables the ignition & the fuel pump. With the siren it also sounds an alarm when someone screws with your bike. Either way, without the remote fob or the pin number the bike won't start & the fuel pump won't pump gas. All you can do by turning the ignition is read the mileage & push the bike. I like mine!
