Success with Scratch
Just wanted to give some props to the forum and Turtle Wax. I read here where someone suggested using Turtle Wax Rubbing Compound Premium to minimize a scratch. Well, my bike FOUND a scratch on top of Saddle Bag cover right across the blue. VERY obvious. I was sick to say least. Thought it was going to be one of those, "live with it" issues. Well, went out to Wally World and picked up a container of The Turtle Wax compound and it is ALMOST unnoticeable. Well, after that success I went after some other minor swirling issue and some chrome and it worked wonders. Much less effective on chrome, but wow, what a shine after the rubbing compound then some Harley Glaze. Anyway, just thought some on here might find it useful. Perhaps many already know this little tip.
