Default ignition switch ****

I installed spots on my 08 FLHX I removed the ignition switch **** now I can't get to go back on and the forks are locked help

A service manual will give you the procedure to align the cams. Instead of a HD alignment tool, you can use a screwdriver to align the cams.

If you don't have a manual, do a search on the forum. There are a couple of good instruction threadson how to do it.

A service manual is how I got it off it only talks about the alignment tool

It's a bit of a pain, but I used a small screwdriver to align the cams. Be sure to turn the bars all the way to the stop (left if I remember correctly).

Mine just went right back in and unlocked the fork no problem. Then I took it back out. I probably did this two or three times in the process of installing my driving lights. Guess I got lucky huh?

Yup get a flashlight and a long skinny screw driver and line em up, then wiggle it back in there. The first time I did it I had problems too. Take your time it'll go.
