Default Big Sucker air cleaner
Running a Stage 1 AC on my Street Glide. The filter started as red and now is gray. Can I get back to red by cleaning it somehow, or is that it?

It was red beacause the oil in it is red. How many miles have you ridden since installing it? I am running the Big Sucker also but I am not sure how long it can go between cleanings. I would guess at least 10k in normal conditions.

Ditto w/ Diggity. Clean frequently and spray on K&N Air Filter as noted above. Too much and it'll be dripping on your foot.

The oil is what gives the the filter the red color...I didn't know that till I went and got the recharge kit, and the guy at the parts counter said to rinse that sucker till the red is gone...then dry and reoil.

That is why I have an extra filter.... Take one off... replace with clean one... clean old one and no wait to ride.....
