I came to this forum because I heard that I could get some tech advice here. Here's my first shot. I just returned from Myrtle Beach Bike Week and experienced some performance issues with the bike. I ride a 2008 Road Glide with a 103 inch kit. The intake has been opened up and I just added 3.5 inch Rush mufflers (slipons) with the big 2.5 inch baffles. When I bought the bike, I was told that the fuel control system had been remaped (sp)to run the 103 inch kit. It still had some quiet exhausts on it when I bought it. It also ran great whether hot or cold. It just sounded a little too much like a goldwing instead of a Road Glide. The dealer told me thatthe fuel system wouldn't need re-programmingif I just put slipons on it. I think that he may have been mistaken. When the bike gets hot now, it won't hardly get out of its own way at low rpms. It sputters and bucks andforces me to ride like those idiots that constantly rev their bikes at red lights. When the bike is cool, it runs like adream. It seems likeit's getting hot and leaning out. I'm considdering aPowerCommander to help with this issue. Any insights? Opinions? Advice? I am also a little concerned about the way that the pipes areworking.I realize that most of the exhaustfrom these bikes comes out of the rightside pipe, but I have 2000 miles on these pipes now and the left one doesn't have any trace of spent exhaust in it. It still looks new. Any help or opinions would be appreciated.
Fuel Moto should be able to get you pretty close with a fuel system, but it will cost you. All that work you have done to your bike is going to change your fuel/air needs. You probably need a richer system to help cool her down.
The only slipons you could have used without re-tuning was the SE performance ones harley sells not "any" slipons, now you will need to use a tuning device to correct the problem your slipons have created.
I had a PC III on my 07 Roadglide and it did a pretty good job, but after reeading about it here, I decided to change out and go with the TMAX with auto tune. Very easy to install and setup and let it do the work, my bike runs better than it ever has and I am not a TMAX geek. I just followed the instructions inclosed. Just my 2 cents worth

His bike is an 08! no Tmax for them yet and not even an anticipated release date...
There's some good info above. I think you have 2 issues. You're running too lean. I like thePC111 for a tuning device.
Also, I believe the baffles in your Rush mufflers may be too big.
Definitely talke to Jamie at Fuelmoto. He has developed some modified Rush baffles. He also will load a map on a PC at a reasonable cost. Around
$280 shipped.
jamies rush baffles use a really small left side and large right side u get 2into one torqe at low rpm. and he uses different packing that wont burn up or blow out.but with that much mods i would seriosly think about a dyno run regardless of pc111 or sert.
After some serious reading in this forum I installed the Xied enriching devices. 80 bucks with the military discount.
