I've got a GMR 98" PowerPack II and very happy with it. Installed by R&R up here in NH. I wouldn't be surprised if R&R does the heads for HQ...??
That's funny--HQ selling R&R ported heads. Actually, Doug Coffey, HQ's owner, has been porting HD heads for about 30 years. All the machine work at HQ is done by Doug and another guy, Kelly, who has been with him about 10 years. I believe GlideMan posted several months ago that he stopped in at HQ's shop and was surprised to see it was a simple machine shop--no showroom, no customer bikes; just a couple of guys doing heads, cylinders, etc. HQ doesn't grind their own cams, but uses a reputable cam manufacturer to grind cams to HQ specs; ditto the pistons, valves, etc. used in their packages.
