I have a 2008 FLHX with the SE 113 right out of the SE catelog. With the SE Heavy Breather, and D&D Borzilla 2 in to 1 exhaust. When I first did the install I used the Vance & Hynes big mouth duls. I could only get 81hp and 102Q. Installed the D&D and got 109hp and 109Q. After tuneing I ended up with 120 both Hp and torque just like the SE catelog stated. I am a happy camper now.
Whoa. That kit is $3100 on my cataloge. How much would I anticipate in labor from a dealer?
Go M&M Cycles web site, they are a parts distributor out of Ohio. You'll get that 113 kit way cheaper than a Harley Dealer. My 113 kit was around $2700. I'd go with different cams TMans' 590 or better.
Just got my '09 EGS in Denim Black today. V&H Dresser Duals, Monster Ovals, RSD A/C and SERT. Very pleased with the results, was thinking about going with different cams at first but with #'s like these I might just keep it stock. Tuned by IndyWest Harley in Plainfield, IN
Max HP = 80.23 @ 5100
Max TQ = 96.31 @ 3300
Has 90+ ft-lbs Tq from 2100 to 4500
WOW.... you beat all the odds there my friend, especially running dresser duals - can't believe you have 90TQ at 2100rpm with stock cams and dresser duals!!!!!!!
