I have a 2010 Road Glide. Did an experiment... with 1600 miles, put it on a dyno and it came out at 63.3 hp and 80.32 torque. It was bone stock with the 98 motor and two into one exhaust from the factory. Then put S&S 2 into 2 header and SPO slipons plus Tuned Runner intake, tuned it and put it on a dyno. The stage 1 made 72.04 hp and 82.06 Torque. Then we upgraded to a 585 S&S cam, tuned it and dyno'd it. With the stage 2 upgrade, we made 87.06 hp and 89.61 torque. Then installed 106 kit and tuned and dyno'd it. The stage 3 upgrade made 99.24 hp and 107.35 torque. Then put on the S&S stage 4 heads with larger valves and ported/shaved. Tuned it and dyno'd it. With the stage 4, we made 106.19 hp and 108.07 Torque. That was a 67% increase in hp and a 35% increase in torque. We did this to try to get a true "scientific" measurment of the improvements that could be expected with this combination of parts and how much could be gained with each step of the upgrade. Dyno results are not absolute... put a different bike with the same motor on the same dyno and you will probably get different answers. What is important is the relative improvements that can be had. We played no dyno games for bragging rights. Put more air in the rear tire and you will show more hp. Put a lighter wheel on the rear and you will show more hp. We just focused on trying to measure real results. Made video's showing each step of the process plus have dyno charts. If interested, I will later post dyno charts and video's. I don't want this to be considered spam, so let me know if you are interested in the details or the video's.
Nice, controlled experiment. Would you have a Dyno available of your motor at stage 3, I am interested in the torque produced by the 585 cams with the addition of the 106 ci Kit, particularly from 1800 to 3000 RPM, as this portion of the performance curve is not always shown (or some motors won't pull below 2200, my 103 Springer is an example). This is also where I tow (2300 to 2800 mostly). I have been looking for the same results from a 583/106 (or 103ci) combination, anyone have such a Dyno chart? I picked up a set of S&S Power Duals w/ the cross-over port for 2008 and earlier FLHT's (much like the stock system used on 2009's and up). I have Dyno time arranged, and want to produce results for an SE204/HD 103ci BB kit combo w/ my existing Duals (with and w/out anti-reversion cones), and the same with the S&S power duals. I plan to use a set of 1.750 ID BUB 7 Stealth mufflers with the above (I have Sampson spiral baffled mufflers & 2" ID Pythons to try if the BUBs don't work out). Pistons are flat tops, Suggestions before I begin? I'm using a SERT, and will start with the map made w/ the 204's & 103 kit on the same Dyno, then modified via PC. I'll consider swapping out the 204's for 583's if they make more torque, as they are priced about the same as compression releases are, installed (and I definatley need them).
This was in Las Vegas, NV, elevation ~2,000 ft above sea level. Stock: All stock, with a Screamin Eagle Nightstick slip-on Run Conditions: 89.35 F, 28.3 in-Hg, Humidity: 7%
Max Power = 60.08 Max Torque = 74.70
Mods: V&H 2-1 Pro Pipe, Stage 1 air cleaner, PCV Run Conditions: 100.8 F, 28.13 in-Hg, Humidity: 5%
Max Power = 72.35 Max Torque = 84.26

+1, I have been looking for the right cam for the 106 and my indy swears by the 585. I had the 585 in my built 95" and didnt like the lack of pull down low. It was a animal above 3300 but below that it was a bit of a dog and I would always have to down shift and thats with the 5 speed. Also had a lot of pinging that we couldnt tune out?? He says its totally different in the 106 with the 10.0CR??? Would sure like to see the dyno.
The dealership installed the following on my 2011 Ultra Classic (96") today:
Rinehart Classic Duals 3.5"
Barons Big Air Kit
SE Pro Super Tuner
The bike has 1125 miles on it. Attached is the printout from the dyno. I don't know much about interpreting the data but, compared to a lot of similar bikes in this thread, my numbers look somewhat low. What do you guys think?

I don't think they tuned it at all if you want my opinion. If they did they did a crappy job. Those lines look horrible. The HP and the TRQ lines aren't even to scale with each other. The air fuel looks like it's around 14.0:1 instead of 13.0:1 like it should be. Looks like they threw a MAP in it and made a couple passes to give you a printout and that was it. The numbers next to your name at the bottom are 7 and 8, so I would guess that's all the passes they made. A full dyno would take a minimum of 48 passes. Tha would be going through each cylinder 2 times, once to get samples to make the corrections and the second to verify the corrections.
