Does anyone make a simple rack for an FLHT? This would be a two up rack.
Mine is a 95 but I don't think anything has changed as far as the seat mounting location.
I'm looking for something that attaches to the rear seat bolt and the license plate frame.
I recall seeing somthing in an old J&\\;P catalog but it doesn't show up in the 2008 catalog.
I bought the detachable two up tourpack rack 53276-04 and docking hardware and then bolted my 92 rack to it. \\; Saved buying a new luggage rack, sissy bar, and pad. \\; As I ride mostly w solo seat it only takes a min. to change for two up.
Mine is a 95 also. Newer ones are a little different. I bought a rack for a road king off ebay. The four bolts you remove for the tour pack line up the same on this rack. Part number 53405-87b. Don't think you can get it new from Harley anymore but I found a new one last year on ebay, look around. The backrest pad can be purchased new at Harley, # 52548-87b.
Good luck.
