Can someone help me with the part # for the silverstar bulb for the passing lights(on  \\;the sides of the headlight)?
 \\;
I know it has been posted before but in a search I can't find it.
 \\;
 \\;
Thank you
Moe
Harley bulb for Part Number 68273, 68450, 69294 &\\;68348 is \\;a #880 - it is NOT the same as an H3 bulb... (don't ask how the wallet knows)
 \\;
If you want to switch over to the H3 Halogen bulb, you need the harley # 68208-98A
 \\;I ordered that bulb housing, cut the rubber sleeve back, removed the H3 bulb and upgraded it to a PIAA Silverstar bulb. (I've got the HID headlamp, and the 880 just looked to yellow)
 \\;
just be careful to order the 35 watt version (ebay is cheaper than dealers).. most car stores sell the 50 watt version which may cause problems with the wiring harness
 \\;
I have changed over to the halogen housings, just looking for the Sylvania silverstar bulb #. Have the headlight bulb want to change passing lights to match plus riding more at night and want the extra light.
 \\;
Thanks
Moe
I don't have the Sylvania number..
I got the PIAA ones - I picked mine up on ebay.. 27.00for the pair  \\;vs 45.oo locally http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...878&\\;rd=1
 \\;
PIAA part number is 15635 for the 35 watters
 \\;
 \\;they're 3800 Kelvin - PIAA Super White
 \\;
you can check the Fatboy catalog.. their prices are 34.00 EACH.. but they were on backorder when I was looking
The replacement bulb for the halogen is actually a 881 with a 90 degree base. The Silverstar # is H3ST, but does not have a 90 degree base. I have read it can be slightly modified to fit into the housing.
 \\;
I have the Silverstar H4ST Headlight bulb. Its real bright at night, but lacks the visible noticibility during the day compared to the Stock Halogen (yellowish). I decided to leave the 881s in my passing lights for better daytime visiblity.
